About the Event

Join us for a tour of the Mount Vernon restaurant, The Elephant, located in an 1850’s midtown mansion in Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. Adorned with decorative arts by Tiffany, De Forrest, Waterford, and Rinehart, The Elephant — recognized as one of the region’s “Top Ten Restaurants” – serves globally inspired cuisine and handcrafted classic cocktails. Tour goers will see and learn about how this iconic building evolved over the years from a residence to retail showroom to a restaurant.

About the Tour Guide:
Steven Rivelis is one of the co-owners of The Elephant restaurant – recently voted Maryland’s Favorite New Restaurant — which is located at this address and he is also one of the co-owners of VSOP – Very Special Older Properties — LLC which conducted a 22 month complete restoration and rebuild of this iconic midtown mansion.
