AIA Baltimore is the third oldest American Institute of Architects Chapter in the country, founded in 1871. AIA Baltimore was without an official chapter house until 1954 when it moved to 1025 St. Paul Street. In 1988, the organization moved to its current location: a four-story rowhouse with offices, a bookstore and gallery. Stop in and peruse the books, and check out the special exhibits:

  1. Edge: Harbor and City Exhibition. Design concepts by multi-disciplinary teams that address ecology and resiliency of Baltimore harbor’s edge.
  2. Baltimore, A History Block by Block. Photography By James Singewald.
