The Baltimore Society for Model Engineers, was founded in 1932 and maintains 2500 square feet of model railroad displays, the largest permanent display in the Mid Atlantic. It is the oldest exclusively model railroad club in the United States, and the third oldest modeling society in the world, providing citizens in the Baltimore area a glimpse into the history of railroading. Come see the club’s scale railroad layouts, which include operating trains and trolleys and Baltimore landmarks. The doorway is tucked into the left front center of the building and the society is located on third floor.
