About Chesapeake Conservancy
Chesapeake Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Annapolis, Maryland. We are a team of conservation entrepreneurs. We believe that the Chesapeake is a national treasure that should be accessible for everyone and a place where wildlife can thrive. We use technology to enhance the pace and quality of conservation, and we help build parks, trails and public access sites. With global calls to protect 30% of land by 2030 as a climate solution, Chesapeake Conservancy uses artificial intelligence and groundbreaking data to accelerate progress in conserving landscapes vital to the Bay’s health and its cultural heritage while equitably connecting people to the Chesapeake.

About Canton Kayak Club
The Canton Kayak Club is a nonprofit organization based on Baltimore, that provides an inexpensive and convenience way to learn and enjoy kayaking in central Maryland. As an all-volunteer organization, we make the water-accessible to those without the need to purchase, transport or store a kayak. We offer a seasonal membership to access our shared kayaks from multiple waterfront locations around the Chesapeake Bay. All new members start by completing an orientation training prior to accessing club equipment. We build the local recreational paddling community by offering regular group outings on the water, by giving members a to forum coordinate outings with other members, and by having monthly socials.
